The camping is located at the centre of Portugal, but within the borders of the Nature Park of Serra da Estrela, which means as much as "Star Mountains". The next city is Gouveia in a distance of 6 km to the West. The Serra da Estrela is part of Portugal's highest mountain area (1800 km2) and with its "Torre" on top adds up to 2000m total height.

Antwerpen - Lille - Paris - Tours - Poitiers- Bordeaux - San Sebastian - Burgos - Valladolid - Salamanca - Vilar Formoso (Portugal) - IP5 (before Guarda turn right to IP5-Aveiro) - junction nr. 24 Gouveia N17 = the road between Celorico da Beira and Coimbra.
At km 114 to the left direction Nabainhos / Melo and follow the roadsigns of "Quinta das Cegonhas". |
| By motorcar (from Spain/Vilar Formoso): |  |
| By aeroplane: | From Porto (200 km) and Lisboa (300 km). Train to Gouveia station. (Change at Pampilhosa when you come from Porto). Taxi (10 km) to the camping. Or by bus to Gouveia and then by taxi to the Quinta. |
| By train: | There is a direct international connection from Paris to Irun (Spain) and then to Celorico da Beira. Then by taxi to the Quinta (16 km). |
| By bus: | From Northern Europe there are direct international connections to Portugal. Information at your travel agency. |
